You Probably Didn’t Know Your Hair Needs This Product

The Number 1 Thing All Natural Hair Lovers Need (like now)

It’s Monday morning, you overslept, and you have no idea how your hair got so hard over night! You followed the instructions of your favourite YouTube vlogger to the “t”. I mean, you even trimmed your ends because they promised that would make your hair grow overnight!

Okay, stop, collaborate and listen! 😉 Let’s deal with the number one hair product that will make your hair super soft. Oh ya’ll didn’t know? Any guesses?

Yep, you guessed it (or tried!) It’s glycerine. Natural glycerine can be found in coconut oil and shea butter.

One of my staples on this natural hair journey has been glycerine. Add a little peppermint oil into your glycerine, stick the bottle in a cup of hot water for 10 minutes and massage your scalp for 15 minutes weekly. My God! It’s a hot oil mixture from heaven. Not only does it encourage hair growth, it’s super, super therapeutic (or so the Youtube vloggers tell me ;)).

Your hair will feel soft and your scalp will love you. Like forever.

Wait, Glycerine and honey = soft hair?

Btw, glycerine, like honey, is a humectant. Humectant is just fancy word for “attracting moisture”. That means it attracts moisture to your hair and also helps to retain it, all the while keeping your hair baby soft.

Glycerine is water-based

It’s ‘water-based’, so it’s super easy to wash out as well. You might be doing a lot of that, since glycerine is quite sticky and maybe a little heavy for some. The Solution? Mix it into your oils or into your daily spritzer.

The great thing is that glycerine products are budget- friendly. Ain’t nobody got time for anything else.
